Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to support K-12 students within a public school district
located along the southeast Florida coast. Assignments vary by
school, with most professionals placed at a single campus. Both
full-time and part-time opportunities are offered, providing
flexibility to suit your schedule. Key Responsibilities: Provide
speech and language therapy services to students, including those
in Early Childhood Special Education (ESE) Pre-K programs and Deaf
and Hard of Hearing (DHH) clusters. Assess, develop, and implement
individualized treatment plans to support student communication
needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance student
outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district
policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Active Florida
Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required. Experience
working with school-aged children (Pre-K through 8th grade
preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to work
collaboratively within school settings. Previous experience in
special education and knowledge of DHH services is a plus. Work
Locations & Schedule Examples: Bayshore Elementary (Port St. Lucie,
FL): Full-time schedule supporting ESE Pre-K students alongside two
full-time SLPs. Oak Hammock K-8 (Port St. Lucie, FL): Part-time,
two days per week; site includes one full-time SLP and one SLPA
specializing in DHH services. This contract role is non-remote and
requires on-site presence; hybrid or remote arrangements are not
available. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues
