POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Production Shop Supervisor, the Gear Technician services aircraft landing gear components through troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and parts replacement at the component/depot level using manuals and other data. This position requires strong mechanical ability and great attention to detail. A Gear Technician must be willing to accomplish both repetitive and unfamiliar tasks on a regular basis with the use of aviation repair manuals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable Accommodations StatementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
