This role may involve emergency responses and project cleaning throughout the year, with occasional rotation for cross-training.Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Clean and stock restroom facilities following industry sanitation practices.
  
• Vacuum carpeted areas, including moving/replacing furniture and spot cleaning.
  
• Sweep, dry/wet mop floors, stairwells, entries, etc.
  
• Handle waste removal, including trash and recycling.
  
• Perform surface cleaning, including dusting, wiping, and scrubbing of furniture, walls, and equipment.
  
• Conduct window, glass, and entry door cleaning.
  
• Shampoo/extract carpeted areas and/or upholstery.
  
• Refinish flooring through stripping, waxing, and buffing (tile, VCT, etc.).
  Minimum Qualifications:Completion of 9th grade. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexible in assignments and trade utilization.
    
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills.
    
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and appropriate housekeeping chemical usage.
    
  • Ability to prioritize task assignments.
    Health Assessment Required: UCF policy requires completion and passing of a physical exam for this position.Additional Application Materials Required:Two (2) professional references from current or previous supervisor/manager.Special Instructions to the Applicants:This position is eligible for 5% Shift Differential Pay of the pay range minimum.Position requires a valid Class E driver's license.
