We're seeking a dedicated Server Administrator to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Infrastructure Management:

Install, configure, and maintain a diverse range of servers, including web servers, email servers, file servers, and database servers.
Plan and implement comprehensive server backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor server performance and capacity utilization, proactively identifying and resolving server-related issues.
Conduct regular system updates and patch management to ensure optimal performance.

Security and Access Control:

Configure and manage server security settings, including firewall rules and access control lists, to fortify our network.
Implement and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions for a secure computing environment.

Storage and Network Management:

Manage storage devices and RAID arrays efficiently to ensure data availability and redundancy.
Monitor network traffic and performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize connectivity.

Reporting and Automation:

Generate detailed reports on server activity and performance to aid in decision-making.
Utilize automation and scripting to streamline server-related tasks.

Windows Domain Expertise:

Administer Windows Domain and Active Directory effectively, ensuring seamless user management and network integration.

Change Management:

Track user account creation, changes, and deletions to maintain an accurate and up-to-date user environment.
Evaluate proposed software and Windows configuration changes for their impact on existing information systems.

Standardization and Security:

Develop and implement maintenance procedures, standard operating procedures, and security baselines to maintain a stable and secure environment.
Provide analytical and technical security recommendations to enhance our security posture.

Risk Management:

Perform risk analysis for vulnerabilities, incidents, and change requests, helping to mitigate potential threats.

Innovation and Integration:

Offer recommendations related to the design, development, and integration of automated software and hardware solutions, keeping our systems up to date with emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in server administration and network management.
Strong expertise in Windows Domain Administration and Active Directory.
Proficiency in automation and scripting.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
