Job Description:
Overview:
For the gear shop, the ideal individual comes from the an
automotive service center/has an automotive experience or entry
level A&P mechanic.
Will also take individuals out of the military that worked on
aircraft or vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Production Shop Supervisor, the Aircraft
Mechanical Assembler services aircraft landing gear components
through troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and parts replacement
at the component/depot level using manuals and other data.
This position requires strong mechanical ability and great
attention to detail.
A Aircraft Mechanical Assembler must be willing to accomplish both
repetitive and unfamiliar tasks on a regular basis with the use of
aviation repair manuals.

Calipers
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED):
Required
Experience in back shop Aircraft Maintenance assembly preferred but
will take experience related to hydraulics/pneumatics / wire
harness assembly experience within the automotive industry or
military.
No A&P or certifications are required for these openings.
MUST have working knowledge and experience with micrometers and
calipers and manuals.
