Job Description Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a
highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Specialist to join our
dynamic team in Orlando, Florida for a 6 month contract to hire
position. This person will be performing all functions within the
operating plants to make sure the wastewater plant is operating
correctly. Responsibilities include coordination with mechanics and
electricians, grabbing water samples and transporting them to the
lab for testing, and checking the systems to make sure they are
communicating properly. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE High School
Diploma or equivalent. Depending on area of assignment must possess
State mandated A Water or Wastewater certification. Depending on
area of assignment, must be able to comply with the requirements of
the Utilities' Health and Safety Manual. Must complete the Orange
County Leadership Development series within two years of hire or
promotion. Depending on area of assignment must possess appropriate
level of CDL with required endorsements or possess CDL permit and,
obtain license and endorsements within six months of hire or
promotion. Must demonstrate proficiency in three skills areas. Must
complete the Orange County Effective Training and Presentation
Skills program or an equivalent trainer's certification program
within two years of hire or promotion. Must possess and maintain a
valid State of Florida Driver's license by date of hire.
Compensation: $22/hr to $35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based
on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of
