/n Location: Winter Park /n On-site, Community-based /n /n Summary
/n The Board Certified Behavior Analyst develops behavioral plans
and provides behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic services to
program participants. /n /n Essential Job Functions /n To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily
perform each essential function listed below: /n /n /n - Works with
supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance, and
generalization of behavioral change /n - Maintains the use of least
restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of
Behavioral Techniques /n - Directs program participant contact in
effecting behavioral change, primarily in the area of activities of
daily living, behavior management and social skills /n - Provides
Behavioral Therapy and Active Treatment programming in the
residence job site, and within the community on an individual or
group basis /n - Submits weekly logs indicating objectives,
strategies, and results obtained /n - Consults with staff,
insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge, and
family on treatment recommendations and progress /n - Participates
in family education and therapy as needed /n - Participates in
treatment planning with the trans-disciplinary team and attends
pre-admission meetings as requested. Serves as a member on the
rehabilitation team. /n - Ensures evaluation, progress, and
discharge reports on each program participant are provided in a
timely manner /n - Completes daily billing summaries on a timely
basis /n - Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics
of confidentiality /n - Assists in coordination of behavioral
programming within all living settings, community settings, and
vocational sites as necessary /n - Provides support to assigned
team /n - Trains and consults with staff in behavioral techniques
/n - Oversees work and trains BIT intern and practicum students /n
- Participates in Behavioral Research Projects with the facility
and Crisis Intervention System (On-call) /n - Performs other
related duties and activities as required /n /n /n Minimum
Knowledge and Skills required by the Job /n The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities
required to perform the job: /n /n Education and Experience /n
•Master's Degree in psychology or related field required /n •Five
years of experience working with special populations in behavior
management /n •Experience with behavior analysis within an applied
setting preferred /n Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: /n
•Board Certification Behavior Analyst (“BCBA”) required /n /n Other
Skills and Abilities /n •N/A /n /n Other Requirements /n •Travel as
needed /n /n Physical Requirements /n •Light work. Exerting up to
20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force
frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move
objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of
forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits
most of the time, the job is rated for light work. /n /n AMERICANS
