Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Mixed unit covering Med Surg, Med Surg Tele, and PCU • 1:6 patient ratio required experience • 2 years of nursing experience required • Every other weekend requirement • Floating required within scope of practice • Must be available for mandatory 5 shifts during clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week) • Adult and geriatric patient populations • High acuity unit requiring rapid response team experience • Total joint replacement experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS • Telemetry experience required including dysrhythmia interpretation and management • Experience with cardiac drips (no titration), chest tubes, CVA care, and blood product administration • Skills required include central line care, PICC management, wound care, BiPAP/CPAP, and isolation precautions • Must complete 4 hours of non-billable modules prior to start date • Charting system: Meditech • Scrub color: Any color allowed • No block scheduling permitted • 3 call outs result in termination • Holiday requirements based on number of holidays during assignment • Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers) Facility: This acute care hospital features 210 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services including interventional cardiac catheterization lab on-site.
