Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be
essential in providing holistic care through our extensive network
of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. The
applicant will be responsible for delivering personalized
rehabilitation therapy to a diverse patient population, helping
them achieve maximum recovery and independence. This position
requires a compassionate approach and adept problem-solving skills
to handle a variety of medical conditions, ensuring alignment with
the patient's comprehensive treatment plans. Evaluate patient
conditions and develop appropriate physical intervention plans.
Help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and develop or
regain their independence. Document patient care and track their
progress within our rehabilitation framework. Participate in
interdisciplinary team meetings to provide a cohesive approach to
healing. Educate patients and their families about the treatment
plan and ongoing management strategies. Stay current with new
treatments, technologies, and best practices in physical therapy.
Expert knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities. Ability
to assess patient needs and craft individualized recovery plans.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in
utilizing physical therapy software and equipment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed as a
Physical Therapist in the state of practice. American Board of
Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) certification is
advantageous.
