Responsibilities and Required & Preferred Skills and Requirements
Responsibilities: - Work in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac
Cath Lab - Scrub and circulate for cardiac and interventional
procedures - Perform equipment setup and maintain sterile field -
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias - Interpret
dysrhythmias - Follow infection control, isolation precautions, and
PPE protocols - Provide age-specific care for middle adult and
older adult patients - Float within scope to nearby facilities as
needed - Participate in call coverage based on unit needs -
Complete required pre-start and annual modules - Pass required EKG
and pharmacology testing (2 attempts max) Required Experience: -
Minimum 18 months experience in specialty (2 years preferred) -
Experience in at least 2 of the following 4 modalities preferred: -
Cardiac Cath - Interventional Radiology - Vascular - Neuro
Interventional - First-time travelers accepted - Travel experience
not required - Teaching, community, trauma, and LTAC experience not
required Certifications (Required/Preferred): - BLS (AHA or Red
Cross) – Required - ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) – Required - ARRT (R) –
Accepted - CCI RCIS – Preferred - No certifications pending
