And QualificationsJOB SUMMARY:We are seeking an Admissions RN to
join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide
pre-admission screenings to provide a complete medical assessment
by collecting the medical history of the patient and ensure all
necessary forms and insurance obligations have been completed. You
will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works
together in a collaborative manner.In this role you will:
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing
process.
- Support, maintain and provide an environment which is
supportive of quality patient care through effective use of
resources and personnel.
- Serve as the advocate for the patient and family with respect
to the patient's right to privacy by protecting confidential
information.
- Plan and implement patient care and teaching based on a total
assessment and the age of the patient.
- Evaluate and document patient response; monitor and recognize
changes in physiological and psychosocial status; take appropriate
action based on assessment of the patient.
- Practice, develop and work with bed management to meet the
goals of patient placement.Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required,
Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license
required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the
Florida license after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of
start
- ACLS required
- Acute care experience with cardiac monitoring requiredHCA
