Palm Point is currently recruiting for Per Diem Mental Health Technician. The Mental Health Technician (MHT) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from children ages 9 -12, adolescents 13-17, and adults 18+ depending upon which unit worked. The Mental Health Technician (MHT) leads therapeutic MHT groups with patients and is able to intervene effectively in crisis situations. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond.
