Internal Medicine (SA191610) Sanford , Florida 32935 Direct Hire Dec 6, 2020 This Regional Medical Center in central Florida is assisting an established and successful practice in their search for a board certified/board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to add one full-time physician as a replacement for a retiring provider. Come join a thriving practice with an existing book of business. We have the patients, we just need the right physician to join us. Consistent new-patient growth year over year allows for continued expansion. - Must be ABFM/ABIM or Eligible - 5 physicians currently on-staff - 26 support staff members - Seasoned practice manager that has been with the practice 25+ years - 2 current practice locations with 3 more to opening in 2020 - Clinic hours are 7:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday - Each physician takes their own call but cross coverage provided for time off - Practice has excellent reputation throughout community Our goal is to increase patient access and strengthen our current network of specialists, urgent care facilities, and hospitals. With two existing locations in Sanford, FL and a third opening in 2020 as well as one each in Lake Mary and Oviedo, we are one of the largest practices in the Orlando metropolitan area. We have a large specialty network that includes: General Surgery, Urology, Ob/Gyn, Neurosurgery, Bariatrics, ENT and Allergy. The Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital with 226 beds. Survey data for the latest year available shows that the hospital had a total of 10,192 admissions. Known as the "Historic Waterfront Gateway City", our community sits on the southern shore of Lake Monroe at the head of navigation on the St. Johns River. As one of Central Floridas oldest incorporated cities, we are home to brick lined streets, towering oaks, elegant store-fronts and large, nineteenth-century Victorian homes.
