Job Description The Opportunity The Department of Aerospace
Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in
Daytona Beach, Florida invites applications for one, or possibly
more, open rank non-tenure track faculty positions starting in
August of 2026. Candidates capable of teaching undergraduate
aerodynamics, dynamics and control, or space systems courses are
especially encouraged to apply. About the Department of Aerospace
Engineering The Department of Aerospace Engineering, the largest in
the nation with an enrollment of over 2300 students, offers
Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees, including 75 students in our
PhD program. The undergraduate program is currently ranked 4 and
the graduate program is ranked 28 by U.S. News and World Report. To
achieve national prominence, the Department has launched an
ambitious agenda focused on expanding the graduate programs,
facilities, recruiting talented faculty, and building research
infrastructure and capabilities. In support of this agenda, the

Education and Qualifications: Earned PhD in Aerospace Engineering
