Product Engineer -Currently Hiring in North America OnlyGenH2 is a premier provider of liquid hydrogen infrastructure solutions. The company mission is to advance the renewable energy economy by accelerating the hydrogen infrastructure buildout. The GenH2 team of scientists and engineers possess decades of experience researching, engineering, and producing hydrogen solutions for the US DoD, DoE, NASA and leading universities. GenH2 aims to mass produce mid-size modular solutions to support a variety of end-use cases for land, air, sea and space.This position will directly impact the growth of the Hydrogen Economy. JOB Summary: The Product Engineer will be responsible for the engineering of assigned products through process design, development, implementation, and improvement, utilizing knowledge and experience in product design, fabrication, and assembly. This position will be responsible for mentoring product engineers and driving strategic initiatives. JOBS Duties AND Essential Functions: Drive product development from concept through market introduction, ensuring that designs meet performance specifications, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.Develop CAD models and drawings, including component, subassembly, and top-level drawings.Must be able to handle multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, detail, and timelines.Conduct design reviews as specified in project plans, and in accordance with company procedure.Leads MRB (material review board)Prepare documentation release packages, including detail drawings, bills of material (BOM), and/or procedures. Approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and obtain approvals from others, as required.Conduct product benchmarking and analyze data to develop new designs or concepts.Problem solving lead for current and new products.Bring initiatives and activities to closure in a timely manner through effective interaction with individuals, both internal and external.Conduct risk and failure mode analysis activities and complete related forms, including performing failure mode effect analysis (DFMEA), design for assembly (DFA), design for manufacturing (DFM), risk/benefit assessments, and others, as needed, for products under development and post-production.Perform and document tolerance analysis of components and assemblies to ensure proper fit and function including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) on components and systems.Develop prototype devices for testing and for evaluation during verification and validation phases. Work with internal and/or external resources to produce prototype device components. Assist in material procurement and support for prototype build operations in coordination with divisional resources.Conduct and/or monitor product verification and validation testing to demonstrate product safety and efficacy. Define testing to satisfy product requirements, to investigate potential failure modes, and to otherwise address the project design inputs. Develop protocols, plan testing, and perform or monitor testing. Complete all necessary documentation including DVP&Rs.Answers technical questions, proposes budgets for projects, mentor junior product engineers, and works with various other departments.Drive continuous improvement and support optimization of processes and sub-processes and mentor product engineers to do the same.Plan and develop engineering products as required, managing a cross-functional team to complete deliverables within agreed upon timing.Understand and actively perform the engineering change management process, including technical and commercial alignment with internal and external customers.Work with vendors to discover and develop equipment to support achievement of the desired future state. Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in product development for a manufactured product.Proficient in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and drafting procedures.Proficient in Microsoft office suite.Ability to meet deadlines, dependable, and self-directed.Capable of working in fast-paced team environment.Effective written and verbal skills.Experience managing engineering projects.Demonstrated support of company goals, values, and mission statement.Follow procedures and utilize appropriate PPE.Be detailed and customer oriented.Job Type: Full-time On-SitePay: $67,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-timePay: $67,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceSchedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate: Titusville, FL 32780: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience: Executive Assistant: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
