Mechanical Engineer Technician -GenH2 is a premier provider of liquid hydrogen infrastructure solutions. The GenH2 team of scientists and engineers possess decades of experience researching, engineering, and producing hydrogen solutions for the US DoD, DoE, NASA, and leading universities. GenH2 aims to mass produce mid-size modular solutions to support a variety of end-use cases for land, air, sea, and space. Minimum Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience assembling, maintaining, and operating a variety of mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to understand design schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with all manner of hand tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively as a part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills for email communication, internet research, and text editing.
• Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting skills using a digital multi-meter.
  Education/Experience at Engineering System Technician 3: The position requires an associate degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
  Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with inspecting and measuring machined parts to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience with electromagnetic or high-frequency generator fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Possess a welding certification or the ability to certify.
  • Experience working in laser or other radiation inducing systems and equipment to include use of interlocking and shielding systems.
  • Experience with basic wiring, fabrication, and welding practices and techniques.
  • Experience in writing and developing work control documentation, procedures, and instructions involving the use of basic computer skills for data entry and familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with lock out tag out rules and regulations.
  • Experience with forklift and crane operations.
  • Experience with alignment and metrology techniques.
  • Experience working with energetic materials.
    Location: This position will be located in Titusville, FL. On-Site

    Essential Job Functions (can perform with or without reasonable accommodation): Lifting 50-lbs, carrying 30-lbs with both hands. Reaching overhead, laterally and down. Applying torque with hands or arms. Ability to work in cramped areas necessitating bending and ducking under structures. Ability to climb ladders and stairs. Understand the hazards and safety requirements of all activities occurring in the work areas.
    Work Environment: The successful candidate will be doing hands-on work at an operating chemical reaction facility with all the fabrication, maintenance, and testing associated with an operational industrial facility.
