Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a part-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired with
Orientation and Mobility (O&M) certification to support K-12
students. This contract position offers the chance to make a
meaningful impact on the education and independence of visually
impaired students in a school setting. Location: Deltona, Florida
Position Type: Part-Time Contract (2 days per week; 10-15 hours)
Duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026 Key Responsibilities: Provide
specialized instruction to visually impaired students across K-12
grade levels Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual
student needs Deliver Orientation and Mobility training to enhance
student independence and safety Collaborate with teachers,
families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive services
Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
Qualifications: Valid Educator Certification as a Teacher of the
Visually Impaired National Certification in Orientation and
Mobility (O&M) required Experience working with K-12 students
with visual impairments Strong communication and collaboration
skills Ability to manage a caseload and adapt to varied student
