Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
opportunity is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
with Orientation and Mobility certification to support K-12
students. This contract position is scheduled to begin as soon as
possible and runs through May 29, 2026, with approximately 10-15
hours per week over two days. Location: Winter Garden, FL Job
Duration: Contract School Year (CSY) Student Group: K-12 Work
Schedule: Part-Time (2 days per week) Key Responsibilities: Provide
specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students
across K-12 grade levels. Implement orientation and mobility
strategies to enhance student independence and safety. Collaborate
with school staff and families to create individualized education
plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress. Utilize assistive
technology and other resources tailored to students needs.
Qualifications: Valid Educator Certification relevant for
instructing the visually impaired. National Certification for
Orientation and Mobility (O&M). Experience working with
visually impaired students in K-12 settings is preferred. Benefits
