Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Florida state license and
CCC certification through ASHA is needed to provide services for
middle school students in grades 6-8. The role supports students
within a public school setting in the Orlando, FL area, with
opportunities for full-time or part-time employment on a contract
basis through the current school year. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in
grades 6-8, addressing a variety of communication disorders. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop
and implement effective treatment plans. - Maintain accurate
records and documentation in compliance with state and district
guidelines. - Potentially serve multiple schools as an itinerant
therapist, providing flexible support where needed. - Participate
in prescreen interviews to determine candidate suitability.
Qualifications and Experience: - Masters Degree in
Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related
field. - Current Florida State License in Speech Language
Pathology. - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from
ASHA. - Experience working with middle school-aged children
preferred. - Ability to work full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time
(approximately 17.5 hours/week) with some flexibility in schedule.
- Willingness to support multiple school locations possibly in an
itinerant capacity. Location and Work Environment: - Position based
in the Orlando, FL area. - Primarily on-site work with potential
hybrid arrangements considered. - Schools served include middle
school campuses within Seminole County. This role offers a
