Job Description Job Description Job Title: Facilities Technician Job Description The Facilities Technician is responsible for executing assigned projects and performing a variety of skilled maintenance tasks. This includes basic carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. The technician will log and report all work orders and utilize hand and power tools to accomplish tasks effectively. Responsibilities Perform skilled facilities maintenance tasks, including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Log and report all work orders accurately. Utilize hand and power tools for maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair various facility-related issues. Perform drywall and painting work as needed. Work independently and efficiently to prioritize and complete tasks. Essential Skills Proficient in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry tasks. Experience in facilities maintenance and repair. Strong troubleshooting abilities. Proficient use of hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Knowledge of safety codes and standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications CPO License preferred. Good work habits, including punctuality and efficiency. Attention to detail. Experience in handyman tasks. Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.) and perform moderate physical work. Ability to work with cleaning solvents. Flexibility to cover day shifts when needed is preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
