POSITION SUMMARY:
You love space. You want to win in the race to elevate human consciousness by taking more people to space for a new perspective than ever before. As the lead for social media strategy and activation, you will own the brand across all channels - from LinkedIn to TikTok. You will lead the social-first vision, execution, and amplification of the brand, crafting a holistic approach and channel-specific strategies - owning planning, development, implementation, measurement, and reporting.
The right fit for this role has a strong creative sensibility and deep knowledge of content types that engage audiences and drive qualified acquisition. Working with the content production team and Designer, you will develop ownable formats that bring the brand to life with unique narratives for quarterly priorities and the day-to-day opportunities. You thrive in a startup atmosphere, where internal and external collaboration and a highly proactive nature are essential to success.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Strategy. Translate data and insights into actionable plans across channels
• Platforms. Manage the day-to-day posting and response across all channels
• Writing. Develop a voice across channels that is in line with the brand
• Content. Collaborate with our content production team and designer for compelling posts
• Assets. Create assets using templates co-created with the Designer
• Best Practices. Leverage tactics to ensure we maximize every post and opportunity
• Algorithms & Trends. Stay on top of (+ educate the team on) the changing platform landscape
• Websites. Oversee the evolution and optimization (SEO, etc.) of all of our digital properties.
• Campaigns. Develop and execute against milestones and priorities, including organic and paid
• Reporting. Surface insights through analytics to inform content strategy.
• Competitors. Produce a competitive analysis and ongoing opportunities for differentiation
• Freelancers. Source and manage a roster of contractors to commission creative output
• Growth. Deliver expanded audiences through amazing payoffs across channels
• Experimentation. Create a culture of trying new things, being quick to abandon or adopt

  • Translate ideas into actionable plans and achievable timelines
  • Spot opportunities for over-delivery and anticipate challenges
  • Pivot and offer creative solutions as part of day-to-day management of workstreams
  • Communicate clearly (written, presentation-building, in person)
  • Travel and work long hours when needed
  • Live and represent the Space Perspective brand and mission
