Opportunity The Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI) is seeking a
Student and Administrative Support Specialist to support daily
office operations and provide student services. This position works
closely with the ERLI Director, faculty, and international students
and plays an important role in maintaining efficient program
operations. Position Overview This position serves as the main
point of contact for ERLI students on non-academic matters and
provides administrative support for the department. The role
requires strong written and verbal communication skills to interact
with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, university
personnel, sponsoring agencies, and external entities. Key
Responsibilities Office and Administrative Support (Primary Focus)
Manage daily operations of the ERLI office Respond to emails, phone
calls, and in-person inquiries Manage and maintain student records,
attendance tracking, and internal systems Compose professional and
confidential correspondence to students, university departments,
external partners, and foreign government agencies Prepare
departmental documents and communications Schedule meetings,
coordinate travel, and assist with events Coordinate student worker
hiring, onboarding, and supervision processes Manage purchasing and
ordering through Workday and maintain related records Update and
maintain the ERLI website and assist with newsletters and
communications Coordinate with campus offices such as ISSS and
International Admissions Student Support Assist current students
with non-academic questions and refer to campus resources Provide
guidance to prospective students on admissions and related
processes Help organize and deliver student orientations and
presentations, in-person and virtually Develop and support student
activities and programming Serve as a point of contact between
students and university offices Program Support (USA College Prep
Academies) Assist with program logistics, communication, and
scheduling Help manage applications, participant communication, and
records Support program delivery, including virtual and in-person
activities Supervision Supervise up to 10 student workers Perks

expected hourly rate for this position is up to is $19.22 . The
final offer will consider the candidate’s skills, qualifications,
and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal
equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated
range. Qualifications Required Education and Qualifications:
Flexible and adaptable when working with individuals from diverse
cultural backgrounds and varying English proficiency levels
Detail-oriented and professional Ability to work independently and
reliably Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals
across organizational levels and with non-native English speakers
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Basic understanding of office equipment Basic understanding of
clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Ability to learn
departmental processes, policies, and relevant regulations quickly
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of
education and relevant work experience Experience in administrative
support, student services, or higher education preferred Preferred
Qualifications Experience studying or living abroad Ability to
speak a second language Additional Information Some evening or
