In this role, you will make an impact by evaluating and solving everyday manufacturing problems related to design, process, and supplier issues for the manufacture of high-quality electronic assemblies. You will provide technical support to operations in the form of enabling and improving the flow of manufacturing utilizing the LEAN principles. The candidate will also have a passion for LEAN principles and processes and be eager to contribute to improved efficiency and productivity, and Test Yield. You will make a significant contribution to developing, verifying, and sustaining assembly and test processes, test equipment, and test procedures that will be used in the manufacturing of new and existing products. WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, test capacity, and overall product Quality. /n - Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis. Implement corrective actions to resolve. Prepare test failure analysis reports as required for production. /n - Study performance and reliability of existing test equipment and establish programs and solutions for decreasing test equipment downtime. /n - Analyze test approach, plans, and processes for cost reduction, test efficiency, test yields, and manufacturing test capacity opportunities. /n - Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for accurate staffing and identify new and optimize approaches that will minimize production staffing needs and capital requirements. /n - Select and order capital test equipment using sound cost/payback analysis. Generate and track Appropriation Requests. /n - Improve existing test fixtures and equipment needed to improve test performance. /n - Participates in Production Readiness Reviews to determine suitability of new designs for production. /n - Support efforts to conduct gage R&R efforts on new test solutions to verify consistent product and equipment performance. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
