Job Description:
We have a client in Titusville within the Healthcare industry
that is currently looking to add a Director of Revenue Cycle to
their growing organization.
- MUST live in Brevard county. Zip codes: 32754, 32775, 32796,
32780, 32927, 32926
- Person can start while commuting in from outside of these zip
codes but would have to move into the zip code within 6 months of
start.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and directs strategic planning within assigned functional
area(s) to anticipate current and future service solutions;
influences the innovation, development and growth of service
strategies; assures the achievement of departmental dashboard
metrics within each strategic pillar (People, Service, Quality,
Growth, Finance); takes immediate and effective steps to assure
national benchmarks are achieved or sustained.
- Leads and directs development and maintenance of systems,
processes, policies and procedures that result in assigned care
partners always providing excellent customer service as measured by
HCAHPS and/or other national customer service best-practice
benchmarks.
- Develops and maintains systems, processes, policies and
procedures that result in a continuous improvement environment
within which assigned care partners always achieve national
best/leading-practice standards for quality and excellence as
measured by CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies
pertinent to areas of responsibility; holding self and others
accountable for actions and outcomes.
- Leads and directs policy formulation, implementation and
adherence. Responsible for the adherence to all of our policies and
procedures as well as regulations and codes established by federal,
state, and local governments affecting professional practice and
industry regulations. Leads necessary certification, accreditation,
and audit procedures; and ensures that reports required by
regulatory agencies are prepared and submitted within established
timeframes.
- Implements procedures as necessary to maintain optimal cash
flow & accounts receivable management (Net A/R days); effectively
manages third-party contracts to ensure compliance with contractual
payment terms and resolves any discrepancies. Provides routine
reports and analysis on payer compliance, denials and under/over
payments.
- Assumes the role of the billing compliance officer.
- Develops and/or maintains systems, processes, policies and
procedures that result in an inclusive, collaborative, healing work

performance management, problem-solving and conflict resolution,
mentoring aspiring care partners; leading effective orientation,
onboarding, recognition, training and professional development

- Develops and/or maintains systems, processes, policies and
procedures that result in effective planning and administration of
annual budget(s); productive, cost efficient and effective
operations; and corrective actions for any operating expenses that
deviate from budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Major(s) required: Business
Administration or related field.
- Master of Business Administration or Master of Health
Administration preferred.
- Greater than 7 years of progressive healthcare and/or financial
management experience in a hospital and/or physician practice
business operation.
- One to Three Years: Formal plans that exceed one year, but not
three years beyond normal operational planning.
- Advanced Professional Skills: The professional theory and
practice, which allows for the development of new methods and
procedures, which is applied at the advanced level of a "fully
seasoned" professional. Requires extensive knowledge of the
professional discipline, a working knowledge of and the ability to
integrate information from related fields, and/or skill found in
thorough knowledge of business management.
- Current Sigma Six Green Belt certification, or required within
one (1) year of employment.
- Proven knowledge in Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party
payor requirements and regulations. Knowledge in a variety of EMR
systems and software. Meditech and Athena experience preferred.
Proven leadership skills.
